Baseball: McGann Mercy falls 9-2 to Tuckahoe in Class C Regional

The Bishop-McGann Mercy Monarchs lost 9-2 Tuesday afternoon against Tuckahoe of Section 1 at St. Joseph’s College in a Class C Regional playoff game.

The Monarchs (17-6) came into the regional off a 5-2 victory over Friends Academy in the Class C Long Island Championship Sunday. Tuckahoe advances to the state semifinals in Binghamton beginning 10 a.m. Saturday to play Cuba-Rushford of Section V.
