POLICE BLOTTER Riverhead Town

Three Riverhead people were arrested on drug charges last Wednesday following an investigation by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s East End Drug Task Force. Venable Booker Jr, 32, Rose Hudak, 41, and Roger Gregory,41, were all charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
The arrests occurred on Delores Avenue in Riverhead about 6 a.m. No additional details were available.
The multi-jurisdiction task force investigates drug crimes on the East End.

• Randy Mouzon, 49, of Manhattan was arrested at the River Pointe Apartments on East Main Street in Riverhead last Wednesday and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and resisting arrest, police said. No further details were available.

• Someone painted “2011” in blue on the side of the Riverhead School District bus barn sometime this week, according to town police. The graffiti was reported about 6 a.m. Monday, 12 days before the Riverhead High School Class of 2011 is set to graduate. No charges have been filed.

• A Riverhead man was arrested Monday after town police said he violated an order of protection and then was found with five bags of marijuana on him. Officers were called to the Greenview Inn on West Main Street after a report that a man and woman were fighting in one of the hotel rooms.
Anthony Francis, 28, had verbally abused and prevented a female acquaintance from leaving, police said. He was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and unlawful possession of marijuana, officials said.

Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
