Health Beat: Free massages for 5K runners

• Riverhead Free Library will host a presentation about San Simeon by the Sound Adult Day Health Services Program on Thursday, July 14, 9-10:30 a.m. Call 727-3228.

• Peconic Bay Medical Center will be providing free glucose and cholesterol screenings prior to the 21st annual Joe Koziarz Memorial 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, July 16, at the Westhampton Beach Village Green, where event registration begins at 7 a.m. PBMC will also offer free massages and pre- and post-run stretching for participating runners.
