Senator Ken LaValle (R-Port Jefferson) is moving his district office to Mount Sinai from Selden, where he’s been for more than 20 years.
The district office will be closed during the move July 29, but will reopen the following Monday.
Spokesman Drew Biondo said Mr. LaValle’s lease was up in Selden and he reassessed his current location.
“The district’s population is spreading east,” Mr. Biondo said. “The current district office is just barely in the district, and it’s possible with redistricting that we would not be in the district if we were to stay there.”
Mr. LaValle’s new office address is:
28 North Country Road
Mount Sinai, NY 11766
