Lunchtime is book time on Fridays at the library. Bring your lunch and join the adult reference librarians as they introduce you to some of the latest books. Relax and enjoy the chat at this informal outdoor social. Save these Fridays: Aug. 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the courtyard by the children’s room (rain brings it indoors). Check it out.

Happy birthday to John Graff, Pat Carey, Jim Grace and Linda Mueller on July 28; Anna Peka, who turns 8, July 29; Michon Griffing and Frederica Miles (with love from family and friends), July 30; Zachary Daters, Aug. 1; Sue Arnau, Pat Contino and Nicole Mielnicki (who turns 18), Aug 2; and Nicole and Kim Staib, Aug 3. Be sure to celebrate.

Get well wishes to Laurie Downs.
