Slide Show: Riverhead campers put on talent show

Riverhead Town Recreation Department summer camp directors Kyle Stephenson and Lisa Lindsay helped 80 first through sixth grade campers perform a talent show with songs from the 1970s to the 2000s Wednesday morning at the George G. Young Community Center in Jamesport.

One group of girls danced to Cyndi Laupers’ 1980’s song “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” Other groups danced to “Ice Ice Baby,” “Everybody Dance Now,” “I’ll be There For You” the them from the television show “Friends”, “Hey Soul Sister” and “Hey Ya Outcast.”

The seven-week long summer camp ends this Friday.
