Health Beat: Free flu shots at PBMC

• Peconic Bay Medical Center will offer free flu shots on Friday, Sept. 30, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in conference rooms A & B. The vaccine, to be provided via injection, protects against three stains of influenza: AH1N1 or swine flu, A/H3N2 and influenza B. There’s no charge for the vaccination, but recipients must be at least 18 years old. Walk in or call 548-6080 for an appointment.
