Cops: Erratic bicycling leads to drug arrest

A Riverhead man spotted peddling a bike erratically along Flanders Road was arrested on drug charges Sunday night after cops stopped him and found he was carrying marijuana, PCP and heroin, Southampton Town Police said.

Brian Kizielewicz, 29, was stopped by police about 7:10 p.m. and an investigation allegedly revealed Mr. Kizielewicz was under the influence of what police described as an unknown drug. Cops then found he was carrying pot, PCP (also known as angel dust) and heroin, authorities said.

He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marihuana and appearing in public under the influence of other than alcohol, both violations. He was transported to police headquarters and held for a morning court appearance.
