Police seek info in Riverside storage facility theft

Police are looking for the person who broke into a storage unit in Riverside and stole landscaping equipment last month.

Southampton Town Police said sometime between Sept. 15 and Sept. 19 someone used bolt cutters to break into a unit at Peconic Mini Storage on Flanders Road in Riverside and stole the items.

The owner of the equipment said an orange X is painted on two of the missing Redmax back pack blowers and an  “A” is marked on the exhaust cover of a Redmax string trimmer.
