Eliot C. Barth

Eliot C. Barth of Riverhead died Oct. 4 at the age of 89.

Born Oct. 18, 1921, in Riverhead to Fred and Margarite (Uffelman) Barth, he earned his high school diploma and served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

Mr. Barth is survived by his wife, Helen (Carlucci); his daughters, Diane, of Riverhead, and Bette Ann Watson of Virginia; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren

Visiting hours will take place Thursday, Oct. 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a service will be held Friday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Aquebogue Cemetery.
