Photos: Horse and Scarecrow Festival at Hallockville Farm

The second annual Horse and Scarecrow Festival was held at Hallockville Museum Farm in Northville Saturday.

It began with a riderless horse show obstacle course, and also featured apple bobbing and costume contests.

There was also face painting, vendors, pony rides and story-telling sessions.

The event proceeds benefit Irie Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program, which holds its riding sessions at Bud Papish’s Union Standard Bred Farm on Reeves Avenue in Riverhead, and the East End Livestock and Horse Association.
