Man arrested for allegedly smashing car windows in Flanders
A 29-year-old man was arrested Sunday morning for smashing windows on two cars in a Flanders driveway, Southampton Town police said.
A man on Riverside Avenue called police shortly before noon Sunday to report that a man he knew had smashed the windows of the two cars, which were parked in his driveway.
Edwin Espana was arrested at his home on Maple Avenue in Flanders a short time later and charged with two counts of criminal mischief, police said.
He is expected to be held overnight at police headquarters for a Monday morning arraignment.
