Cops: Flanders teens burglarized neighbor’s home
A pair of 13-year-olds from Flanders were arrested last week for breaking into a neighbor’s home and stealing electronic devices, Southampton Town Police said.
The two minors, whose names were not released by police, stole multiple computers, video games, and approximately $75 in cash, police said.
They were both charged with second degree burglary, a felony.
Both teens will be scheduled to appear at Suffolk County Probation Intake to answer to the charges at a later date.
Southampton Police said Monday that there has been an uptick in break-ins in the area of and they’ve encouraged residents to report suspicions to police headquarters at (631) 728-5000.
