Books are $20 and can be pre-ordered from Ms. Case at her office, 542 East Main St., Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or at the town clerk’s office at Riverhead Town Hall. Donations can be dropped off at the Grange, 5268 Sound Ave., Riverhead, on Friday, Oct. 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funds raised will help them to purchase a new stove. Bring your friends. It’s never too early to collect donations for local food pantries. First Parish Church, UCC in Riverhead is now accepting donations of canned, jarred and boxed goods on Sundays between 10:30 a.m. and noon. There will be baskets inside the foyer located at the east side entrance of the church in which to place your goods. Do consider giving what you can during this upcoming holiday season to help fill the pantries in our community. Tell a friend!
