Donna M. Papa

Donna M. Papa of Baiting Hollow died Nov. 10 at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson. She was 49.

She was born Aug. 2, 1962, to Charles Van De Water and Gertrude Gonnelli and worked as a veterinarian assistant at Kent Animal Shelter in Calverton.

Ms. Papa is survived by her husband, Dan, and son, Daniel II, both of Baiting Hollow.

Visiting hours are Thursday, Nov. 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 18, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Cremation will take place at Washington Memorial Park in Mount Sinai.
