Janice H. Morrison

Janice H. Morrison of Riverhead died Dec. 12 at The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton. She was 88.

She was born in Freeport June 4, 1923, to Ida (Johnson) and Charles Blair and married Robert Morrison there on Aug. 8, 1948.

Ms. Morrison worked as a bookkeeper at Quantum Pharmics Ltd. in Amityville. Family members said she enjoyed her bowling league and was an avid reader.

Predeceased by her husband, she is survived by her sons, George, of Shirley, and Bob, of Pennsylvania; her daughter, Carol Denoon of Riverhead; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place Friday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead, the Rev. Gordon Bienvenue officiating. Interment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale.
