John A. Cybulski

Former Jamesport resident John A. Cybulski of Crossville, Tenn., died Nov. 21 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn. He was 68.

He was born June 28, 1943, in Center Moriches to Mae (Ambrose) and Joe Cybulski. He married Anne Davidoski in 1967 and, in 1977, they purchased a home in Jamesport, where they lived for 34 years.

Mr. Cybulski worked for the New York Department of Transportation until his retirement, then moved with his wife to Crossville. Family members said he loved Tennessee and was a community socialite whom everyone liked. He played blues harmonica and enjoyed gardening, woodworking and golf, they said.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years and two sons, Michael, of Glens Falls, N.Y., and James, of Rocky Point. His parents and brother, Joseph, predeceased him.

Funeral services took place Nov. 25 at Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church in Crossville, Father Antony Punnackal officiating. Arrangements were handled by Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory.
