East End Arts held a birthday card party Friday evening in the carriage house.

The cards are for next Sunday’s 40th Birthday Brunch to be held in the EEA’s gallery from 1 to 3 pm. There are no restrictions on size or medium of the cards. They will be used to decorate the walls for the party.

Cards can be submitted to East End Arts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Jan. 12 at the gallery located at 133 East Main Street.

Birthday committee chairperson Tina Folks said the menu for the party will include mimosas, quiche, a cupcake tree and a fruit and cheese platter.

The entertainment will include Neo-Political Cowgirl (women’s theatre dance company), performance artist Kate Meuth of East Hampton, animator Don Duga of Riverhead will make snapshot characters, and there will be piano performances by Andrew Wargo and Ranny Reeve.

East End Arts’ 40th Birthday Party is a fundraising event, with proceeds to benefit the mission of bringing the arts to everyone. Tickets are $50 per person.
