PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Wading River Fire District of the towns of Brookhaven and Riverhead County of Suffolk, New York, will hold its regular meetings for the year 2012 on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 o’clock P.M. on such day at 1503 North Country Road, Wading River, NY. Due to holidays the following meetings are scheduled as follows Monday, May 28, Memorial Day, moved to Tuesday, May 29. Monday, October 8, Columbus Day, moved to Tuesday, October 9. Monday, November 12, Veterans Day moved to Tuesday, November 13. Monday, December 24, Christmas Eve moved to Monday, December 17. All meetings of the Wading River Fire District are open to the public.
This notice is being posted in accordance with the provisions of Section 94 of the Public Officers Law of the State of New York.

Pursuant to Section 267 of the Town Law a Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County, New York on January 26, 2012 at the Riverhead Town Hall, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New York not before the time shown below on each of the following appeals:
7:15 p.m., prevailing time, Appeal no. 10-35, the appeal of 400 Restoration Realty, Jedediah Hawkins Inn, 400 So. Jamesport Avenue, Jamesport, New York, to REOPEN an appeal seeking an extension of a previously granted conditional temporary area variance, permitting a catering use outside of the principal structure.
7:20 p.m., prevailing time, Appeal No. 10-66, the appeal of Stephen and Barbara Weir, 458 Sound Shore Road, Riverhead, New York to REOPEN appeal for a variance to Chapter 12, Section 12-14, requesting permission to construct an addition to a single family residence within the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area, such activity being new development and not provided for by Chapter 12.
