Watch Riverhead girls basketball games live this weekend on riverheadnewsreview.com

The Riverhead girls basketball team is playing in the final four of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class AA championships this weekend.

And the Riverhead News-Review will be broadcasting the games live.

The News-Review purchased the broadcast rights this week and we will be streaming live video of the games along with a play-by-play broadcast from Times/Review web editor and veteran sports journalist Grant Parpan.

“This is an exciting time not just for these great basketball players but for all of Riverhead,” Mr. Parpan said. “By broadcasting the game live we can assure that even those locals who can’t make it up to Troy can still watch all the action as it happens.”

Friday night’s broadcast for the semifinals game against Penfield will go live on riverheadnewsreview.com at 6 p.m. The tip-off is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.

Should the Waves win Friday and advance to the championship game, the News-Review will also broadcast that game at 8:30 p.m. Saturday night.
