Gail Baranello of A&G Dance Company led students during  a seven-week program titled “Intermediate Contemporary Dance & Movement” sponsored by the Town’s Recreation Department and held at the George G. Young Community Center in Jamesport.

She choreographed a short performance for the students, highlighting the different dance movements they learned to the Lion’s King song “Hakuna Matata.”

Her class emphasized ballet technique and a strong sense of rhythm, musicality, coordination, strengthening, balance and creativity.

She has been teaching children for over 15 years and owns her own dance company with her husband Adam Baranello.
