Photos: Google Street Map Subaru tours the North Fork

Ever wonder how Google compiles all those street-level images on its maps? It turns out Google has a fleet of Subaru Impreza and Toyota Prius vehicles with cameras mounted on the roof.

A Google Street Map Subaru roamed the North Fork Tuesday capturing images of our communities.

We took several photos of the car as it parked at Hess in Mattituck.
