The Flanders Little League held its opening day Saturday morning at the Wood Road Trail Field in Flanders.

Hot dogs, chips and soda were served as children played on an inflatable “bouncing castle” as the game got underway 10 a.m.

Ralph Gray, a coach for the Fisher Landscaping team, described opening day a “very exciting.”

“We feel good and we’re looking forward to playing, right guys?” Mr. Gray said to his cheering team.

Vincent Viani, a coach for the Flanders Mens Club, said he’s also looking forward to the start of a new baseball season.

“We’re feeling good,” Mr. Viani said. “We’re always feeling good at the beginning of the season.”
