Girls Lacrosse: Blue Waves fall at Patchogue-Medford

Carolyn Carrera and Kristin Perragine scored two goals apiece, but it was not enough to carry the Riverhead High School girls lacrosse team over its Patchogue-Medford counterparts on Friday.

The Blue Waves (1-10, 0-10) could not stop Danielle Dittmeier and Rebecca Keogh in the Suffolk County League League I encounter in Medford. Dittmeier scored four goals and Keough added three goal and an assist en route to a 17-4 win.

After Carrera tied the match at 1-1 only 50 seconds into the match, the Raiders (6-5, 5-5) rattled off five consecutive goals within 6:31 to take a 6-1 advantage it never relinquished.
