Richard E. Buziak

Richard E. Buziak of Riverhead died May 4 at the age of 63.

He was born in Riverhead Aug. 23, 1948, to Edmund and Anna Buziak and was a truck driver for Northville Industries.

He was a race car enthusiast and a fan of NASCAR racing, family members said.

Predeceased by his sister, Carol Ann Morris, in 2011, Mr. Buziak is survived by his brother-in-law, Mike Morris, and good friend Tommy Vance.

Visiting hours will take place Friday, May 11, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A service will be held Saturday, May 12, at 9 a.m. at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, also in Riverhead.
