Cops: Flanders men arrested for stealing electronics equipment

Two Flanders men were among three people arrested Sunday in connection with a recent theft of electronics equipment in East Quogue, Southampton Town Police said.

Police say the three stole GPS units, cellphones and a Dell laptop computer from cars just before noon on April 7 on West End Avenue in East Quogue, police said.

Arrested were Adam Blydenburgh, 20, of Suffolk Avenue in Flanders, Joseph Overbeck, 22, of Madison Avenue in Hampton Bays and John Bailey, 19, of Suffolk Avenue in Flanders.

Each was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fifth-degree conspiracy, police said.
