Edward Fedun

Edward Fedun, 87, of Jamesport quietly passed away at home on May 4.

He was predeceased by his wife, Irene and sisters Mary Razzano, Anna Fink and Alice Moore.

He is survived by his three children: Sandy (Norman) Tyte, Michael (Karen) Fedun and Patrick (Deirdre) Fedun, as well as nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Fedun and sister, Helen Joseph.

Edward was a potato farmer in Calverton for 30 years. He then moved to Jamesport in 1972 and owned his own landscaping business, Ed Fedun & Sons, Inc. He loved bowling and playing poker with friends but his passion was golf.

The family received friends May 12 at a funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Riverhead.
