Photos: Family Festival and fireworks in Wading River

There will be fireworks Friday in Wading River, the third day of the annual Family Festival fundraiser for Peconic Bay Medical Center.

There are carnival rides for kids and adults, along with plenty of games and food in a field across the street from CVS Pharmacy on Route 25A.

Parking is free, but limited, organizers said.

The gates open at 6 p.m. and close at 11 p.m. The fireworks show is scheduled for 9 p.m. Friday, with a Saturday rain date.
