Anne Micelotta

Anne Micelotta died July 18 at Riverhead Care Center. She was 89.

Born July 28, 1922, in Manhattan to Biagio and Mary Viglietta, she worked as a bookkeeper in an appliance store in Queens. She enjoyed cooking, according to family members.

Predeceased by her husband, Joseph, on Feb. 20, 2012, she is survived by her sons, Joseph, of Glen Head, and Michael, of Massapequa; and five grandchildren.

Visiting hours took place July 19 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A service was held July 20 at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead, followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery.
