Things were already picking up downtown Saturday afternoon as athletes arrived to pick up their pre-race packets at the EventPowerLI tent for the inaugural ‘Riverhead Rocks’ triathlon Sunday morning.
The event is sponsored by the Riverhead BID, Apple Honda, Bridgehampton Bank, PBMC Health and the Riverhead Project.
Some of the “pop-up stores” already had their doors open Saturday afternoon, including GG’s Cupcakes, North Fork Animal Welfare League, Bridgehampton Bank and the Long Island Wine Council.
