David J. Hussey

David J. Hussey of Calverton died Jan. 12 in Westhampton. He was 81 years old.

Born June 2, 1931, in the Bronx to Joseph and Emily Hussey, he served in the U.S. Navy, then worked for the N.Y.P.D. as a police officer, based in Harlem.

Predeceased by his wife, Marie, Mr. Hussey is survived by his sons, John, of Newburgh, N.Y., and Kevin, of East Northport; his daughter, Maryann Wright of Hampton Bays; and four grandchildren.

Visiting hours will take place Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead, immediately followed by a service. Interment will be at Calverton National Cemetery.
