Jeanette Hallock

Jeanette Hallock of Riverhead died Feb. 1 at her home. She was 72 years old.

Born Feb. 2, 1940, in Hempstead to Alfred and Catherine (Sullivan) Verity, she was a homemaker and an artist for most of her adult life

Ms. Hallock is survived by her husband, Robert, of Riverhead; her daughters, Ann Marie Gralton of Mattituck, Alison Hallock of Laurel and Dr. Kristen Hallock-Waters of New Jersey; five sisters; two brothers; and her grandchildren, Rebecca, Ashley, Bridgette, Brian, Hanora, Miranda, Trevor and Taylor.

The family will receive visitors Monday, Feb. 4, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral Mass will be offered Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead, Bishop Emil Wcela officiating. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
