John William Hyte

John William Hyte of Wading River died Feb. 7 from injuries sustained after he was struck by a moving vehicle. He was 52 years old.

He is survived by his mother, Phillis Hyte; his sisters Debra Anderson, Patricia Hyte-Klotz and Carol Cotter; and six nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, John Hyte, and his sister Kathleen.

The family received visitors Feb. 11 at Alexander-Tuthill Funeral Home in Wading River, where a prayer service took place Feb. 12. Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
