Riverhead’s 2013-14 calendar includes 2 weeks off for Christmas

The Riverhead school board is expected to discuss budget planning for 2013-14, personnel items and approve its 2013-14 school calendar at Tuesday night’s regular meeting.

According to the agenda, the school board will vote on several personnel items, including workers’ compensation leaves of absence requests for a maintenance mechanic, groundskeeper and special education aide.

The school board will also likely approve next year’s school calendar, which includes a two-week Christmas break.

Tonight’s meeting is at 7 p.m.
