Cops: Driver with suspended license also had outstanding warrant

Southampton Town Police arrested a Riverhead man who had an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license Tuesday night, police said.

Police pulled over Michael Parada, 26, on County Road 51 for a broken headlight about 8:57 p.m. Police determined Mr. Parada had a suspended license and also had failed to pay a previous fine from Southampton Town Court, police said.

He was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and three traffic infractions. He was transported to police headquarters and held for arraignment.
