Joseph A. Catalano

Joseph A. Catalano of Calverton died Aug. 6, 2013, at Stony Brook University Hospital. He was 70 years old.

He was born in Brooklyn Aug. 6, 1943, to Anthony and May Catalano and married Theresa Brienzo there in 1965. She passed away in 2001.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Brenda Catalano of Mattituck; his mother, May; 10 grandchildren: Paige, Jake, Morgan, Christopher, Oliver, Kyle, Jonathan, Aaron, Christina and Stephanie; and his significant other, Brigitte Cappelli.

Visiting hours took place Aug. 10 at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck, where funeral services were officiated by Pastor Jerry Halpin.
