Boys Basketball: Win or go home for SWR tonight

The season comes down to this. The Shoreham-Wading River boys basketball team faces a win or go home game tonight at Bayport-Blue Point in the regular season finale.

At 5-6 in League VI, the Wildcats need a win to finish with a .500 record and earn a trip to the postseason.

The game tips off at 5:45 p.m. at Bayport-Blue Point High School.

The Phantoms are 6-4 and already have their postseason trip locked up. This is the second meeting between the schools. Shoreham won 63-56 Jan. 10 behind 27 points from Danny Hughes.

The Wildcats have won three in a row, including a 64-46 non-league victory over Greenport Jan. 25.
