Evan Papageorge

Evan Papageorge of Riverhead died Feb. 17 at the Westhampton Care Center. She was 58. 

She was born Sept. 26, 1955, in Queens to George and Eleftheria (Karakasi) Papageorge.

Ms. Papageorge was predeceased by her mother in 2005 and is survived by her father, of Riverhead, and her sisters, Georgette Zenk of Riverhead and Joanne Malahias of Connecticut.

The family received visitors Feb. 24 at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service took place Feb. 25 at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church in Blue Point, Father Andrew Cadieux officiating. Graveside services followed at Riverhead Cemetery.
