The Heidi’s Helping Angels nonprofit organization is accepting applications for its Heidi Behr Memorial Scholarship.

The group will award four $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors this June in memory of Heidi Behr, a volunteer Riverhead Ambulance Corps worker who was killed while transporting a cardiac patient in May 2005.

Students at Riverhead and McGann-Mercy high schools can pick up applications at their school guidance offices.
