The Riverhead school board is expected to vote on a memorandum of agreement with a district union that doesn’t include teachers at Tuesday’s meeting, according to the agenda.

The union represents most non-instructional employees in the district, which includes bus drivers, cafeteria workers, mechanics and other maintenance staff, among other positions.

Details about the new agreement weren’t immediately known. District officials said the contract wouldn’t be publicly available until after Tuesday’s school board meeting.

The tentative agreement is between school board and the Riverhead CSD Non-Instructional Unit, Suffolk County Educational Local 870, and CSEA Local 1000 AFSCME AFL-CIO, the resolution states.

In addition to the union contract, the school board is expected to vote on a new online school lunch payment program called Harris School Systems EZSchoolPay.

Superintendent Nancy Carney is also scheduled to update the school board about current construction projects and give a presentation on the proposed 2014-15 budget.
