Cops: Wading River man recorded woman for ‘sexual gratification’

A 32-year-old Wading River man is being held on $25,000 bail for recording images of a woman during an intimate moment without her consent, according to a Riverhead Town police report.

Police said Curran Lee Kirchner used a video surveillance device to record a 29-year-old female for his own “sexual arousal or sexual gratification,” according to court documents.

The incident took place sometime last summer at Mr. Kirchner’s 16th Street residence in Wading River, according to a report.

Mr. Kirchner is charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance, a felony, and is being held on $25,000 cash bail, police said.

He is due back in court Wednesday.
