Forecast: Heavy winds, freezing temps on the way

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook this morning in advance of an approaching cold front that could bring wind gusts of 43 mph tonight. 

A narrow line of thunderstorms could develop this afternoon before temperatures plummet Wednesday, the NWS said. Low temperatures Wednesday night are expected to be at or below freezing, the NWS said, with a high of just 47.

Heavy rain is expected tonight with as much as two inches possible.

Temperatures are expected to remain cool for the remainder of the week with a high of 52 Saturday.
