Riverhead Police said on Saturday morning that they are searching for an ex-con who reportedly violated an order of protection, physically harassing a woman he knew at a Riverhead bar.

Trendell Walker was previously on Riverhead’s Most Wanted List and served time in an upstate maximum security prison before being released on parole in 2012. According to Riverhead Police, a female reported she was physically harassed by the 26-year-old man at the Loose Caboose. Police received the call around 12:45 a.m. this morning, though Mr. Walker has avoided police since.

Mr. Walker was described as 5-foot-11 and about 210 pounds. He served nearly two years in Coxsackie State Prison from 2010 to 2012, according to the State Department of Corrections, on felony charges of attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.

Mr. Walker was again arrested in January 2013 after police said he smashed a woman’s head into a car, and he was arrested again in November on charges of criminal contempt, disobeying a court order. He was last released on his own recognizance, and has an upcoming court date of June 4.
