The Shoreham-Wading River baseball team’s playoff game against Harborfields has been pushed back to Friday, according to Section XI.

The Wildcats will host the Tornadoes at 4 p.m. Friday in a loser’s bracket elimination game in Shoreham.

The Wildcats, the No. 1 seed in the Class A bracket, lost 6-1 yesterday against No. 2 Bayport-Blue Point to fall into the loser’s bracket. The winner between Shoreham and Harborfields will advance to play Bayport Tuesday. The Phantoms have yet to lose in the double elimination tournament, so Shoreham or Harborfields would need to beat them twice to win the county title.

Harborfields defeated Rocky Point yesterday to advance to play Shoreham.
