Renee L. Woodson
Former Riverhead resident Renee L. Woodson of Middle Island died July 24 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson. She was 51.
She was born in Sharon, Pa. to Edward Hazen and Sandra Frye and worked as a sales clerk for Riverhead Waldbaum’s.
Ms. Woodson was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; and her father and is survived by her mother; her sons, Timothy Hazen of Florida and Eric Hazen of Middle Island; her daughter, Yvette Woodson of South Carolina; and her brothers, Ed and Jim Hazen and Charles Snider, all of Pennsylvania.
The family will receive visitors Tuesday, July 29, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead, with a funeral service being officiated by Mother Mary Garde. Interment will take place Wednesday, July 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Riverhead Cemetery.
