Frances B. White

Frances B. White of Riverhead died July 29 at Riverhead Care Center. She was 89.

She was born Dec. 3, 1924, in Riverhead to John and Vera Danowski. She married John J. White May 15, 1948, at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Family members said she was a homemaker who loved baking, bowling and gardening.

Ms. White was predeceased by her husband, John, in 2010 and is survived by her children, Veronica White-Ruddy of Eastport; and John J. and Thomas J. of Baiting Hollow; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family received visitors Aug. 3 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service took place Aug. 4 at St. Isidore R.C. Church. Interment took place at St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery in Riverhead.
