Four marshes in Riverhead and Southold Towns will be treated for mosquito larvae Tuesday, Suffolk County officials announced.

The county’s Division of Vector Control will treat Crescent Duck Farm in Aquebogue and Millar Farm in Jamesport.

Aerial spraying is also planned for Crescent Duck Farm in Aquebogue and Millar Farm in Jamesport. The marshes will be treated by helicopter from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. using Vectobac 12 AS and Altosid liquid pesticides, according to a press release.

If weather conditions prevent the spraying, treatment will continue on the next suitable day, according to the statement.
