Back to School event scheduled for Sunday in Riverhead

Riverhead native Anthony Harris, the designer and founder of LIRClothing, is hosting his second annual Back to School Kids Appreciation Day Sunday. 

The event starts at 2 p.m. at the Doctors Path Community Park and runs until 6 p.m. Students will have a chance to receive free school supplies while enjoying food, drinks and music.

Mr. Harris formed his clothing company in February 2012.

“Help the underprivileged kids, their parents and get them off the school year started right,” Mr. Harris said prior to last year’s event.
