Longtime Riverhead resident Marianne Perrone died Sept. 2 at her home. She was 56.
She was born April 7, 1958, in Riverhead to Frederick Bauer and Louise Listeman and was employed as an animal rescuer for Kent Animal Shelter.
Ms. Perrone’s husband, Joseph said that she loved people and animals, and was a proud, new grandmother. He also said that they loved taking their annual trip to Atlantic City.
She was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by her husband, Joseph; her daughter, Michelle Toscano of New Jersey; her brother, Fred Bauer of Texas; her sister, Nancy Knight of Calverton and her granddaughter.
The family will receive visitors for a memorial service, Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. Cremation was private.
