Bruno A. Kawecki
Bruno A. Kawecki of Mattituck died Sept. 23. He was 81. 
He was born in Kearny, N.J., May 5, 1933, to Sophie (Barszewski) and Anthony Kawecki.
Mr. Kawecki served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and later enjoyed a career as a metal foreman in Kearny.
He is survived by his cousins and great-cousins.
The family received visitors Sept. 26 at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated morning Sept. 27 at Our Lady of Ostrabrama R.C. Church in Cutchogue. Father Stanislaw Wadowski officiated. Interment took place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cutchogue.
